Save the Date - Baltimore World AIDS Day in 1 Month

SAVE THE DATE for Baltimore World AIDS Day. In one month, on December 1st, Baltimore will be honoring World AIDS Day with a special celebration.

The Partnership for Life (which brought you B'more Aware of HIV) will be participating in this event. The Partnership is comprised of AIRS, Chase Brexton Health Services, and Moveable Feast

This year's theme is Celebrate, Remember, and Educate.

The evening will kick off at 6:30PM at Mt. Vernon Place United Methodist Church. Two hours of remembrance, performances, poetry, dances, and speakers will honor those who have died because of AIDS, or are currently afflicted by the disease.

The program will be followed by a reception at the Walters Art Museum. A special mosaic mural, created by the Baltimore community members living with HIV or AIDS, will be unveiled.

We'll post another update on this event, but for now, mark your calendars for this unique commemoration event!
