Dining Out for Life is an annual fundraiser held by Moveable Feast in conjunction with dozens of area restaurants. On the day of the event, local fine dining restaurants donate a minimum of 20% of their proceeds to Moveable Feast. Many restaurants donate up to fifty percent!
In 2009, fifty-three restaurants participated and we raised $64,412 for our organization, a result of about five thousand Baltimore residents eating out that day.
In 2010, forty-seven restaurants participated and we raised even more money than the year previous - a whopping $68,500!
